WHO WE ARE
A Growing Sephardic Community in DC
Atarah Sephardic Minyan of DC is a new Orthodox minyan, established in 2026, bringing together local Jews in Washington, DC for tefillah, learning, and Shabbat hospitality in accordance with our Sephardic cultures and customs. We currently gather monthly on Shabbat morning, with hopes of increasing in tefillah, Talmud Torah, and strengthening the qehillah—one Shabbat at a time.
We take great pride in hospitality, and welcome all regardless of background or level of observance.
